Great Falls Man Arrested After Short Pursuit near Box Elder

BOX ELDER, Mont. (NMB) – A Great Falls man was arrested early Thursday morning, after leading Hill County Sheriff’s Officers on a short, low-speed pursuit. 30-year old Frank James Saddler has been charged with fleeing or eluding a peace officer, suspended or revoked drivers license, no insurance, expired registration, and being a habitual traffic offender. Saddler also had four misdemeanor warrants and, as of Thursday morning, was in the Hill County Detention Center with over $12,700 in bonds

Undersheriff Stan Martin says that at about 1:15 Thursday morning, officers attempted to pull Saddler over near the Box Elder school for not having a license plate on the vehicle. Saddler refused to pull over, drove onto the Rocky Boy Reservation, and stopped in Wild Rose Village, where he was arrested.
