Arrests Made in String of Burglaries in Havre

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Several arrests have been made this week in connection with a series of break-ins and thefts in the Havre area.

Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross says that on January 29th, Fabian Saddler, Jr. was arrested in connection with the John Deere burglary, in which two Gator utility vehicles were stolen. That led to a search warrant for a Havre home in which nearly every room had stolen property in it.

February 5th, three of the homes residents were arrested in connection with the burglaries.

On Thursday night, the Sheriff’s Office received a call about two people in the Saddle Butte Estates area trying to get into a residence. After an investigation, a 17-year old boy was also arrested in connection with area thefts.

Ross says that they are still investigating and more arrests are expected.
