HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Security at Havre High School has relaxed some after a specific threat was found in a bathroom three weeks ago. Superintendent of Schools Andy Carlson says that, while the campus is no longer closed, students are still not allowed to come and go as they please.
“We’re obviously trying to monitor a lot more closely. There’s multiple reasons, but the primary one’s safety. We just want to know that when they do leave our building, we want to know where they’re going. And then, when they’re coming back in, it’s very important that we understand the traffic in that area a lot better than we have in the past.”
Carlson says they’re not back to normal yet, but the High School is looking more like it did before they closed the campus.
